Mercedes Formula 1 driver Kimi Antonelli attended Wimbledon on Monday alongside tennis legend Roger Federer. The pair watched Jannik Sinner on Centre Court. The appearance came one day after Antonelli's challenging British Grand Prix at Silverstone.
Antonelli arrived at the All England Club to support Sinner following a difficult weekend in the championship. He had won the sprint race and started from pole for the Grand Prix but finished 15th after steering problems and a track limits penalty.
The Italian driver posted on Instagram about the outcome. "Not the way I wanted this weekend to end," he wrote, adding that a car issue made it difficult to drive and led to a five-second penalty.
