Louis Vuitton introduced a new laceless sneaker design during its Cruise 2027 show at The Frick Collection in New York City. The hybrid footwear combines elements of basketball shoes and martial arts kicks in various metallic and leather finishes.
Designer Nicolas Ghesquière presented the collection as a cultural bridge between Paris and New York. The shoes feature a structured high-top upper typical of basketball sneakers placed on a low-profile flat sole from martial arts footwear. They come in metallic silver, gold, lavender, and blue tones as well as solid black and white leather options, all without laces for a slip-on fit.
