Pittsburgh Steelers guard Mason McCormick is settling into a new position and working with a new offensive line coach this offseason.
McCormick spoke Tuesday about the transition to James Campen, who replaced Pat Meyer. He noted the shift in philosophies and said the unit has been blessed with the change. McCormick has taken reps at left guard after starting at right guard since his 2024 draft selection. He played on the left side in college and expects to line up next to tackle Troy Fautanu again in 2026. The Steelers lost Isaac Seumalo in free agency, opening the door for positional changes. McCormick said training camp will determine the final lineup. Other linemen including Zach Frazier, Spencer Anderson, Brock Hoffman, Gennings Dunker, Dylan Cook, Broderick Jones and Max Iheanachor are also adapting to new roles.
