MBC Syntainics sets club record with four straight wins

The basketball players of Syntainics MBC have achieved their most successful season start in club history. For the first time, the Weißenfels team secured four consecutive wins. In a top match against SSV Ratiopharm Ulm, they won 75:71 and defended their league lead.

The basketball players of Syntainics MBC have set a milestone in club history with their win against SSV Ratiopharm Ulm. On Saturday evening, coach Marco Ramondino's charges prevailed 75:71 (40:43) in the home game against the third-placed team, achieving their fourth straight win—a club record.

The biggest contributions to the hosts' success came from Jure Planinic with 15 points, Marcus Foster with 14 points, as well as Khyri Thomas, Collin Welp (12 points each), and Charles Callison with 10 points. For Ulm, Christopher Ledlum led with 19 points, followed by Nelson Weidemann and Christian Sengfelder with 11 points each.

The home team started sluggishly and trailed 29:39 after 17 minutes. They fought back to 40:41 just before the end of the second quarter. In the third quarter, they pulled ahead to 51:47 (at 24 minutes) and 65:58 (at 32 minutes). Thanks to outstanding defense, the Weißenfels players held this lead until the final buzzer, securing their position at the top of the Basketball Bundesliga.
