Mexico launches second La Gran Escapada edition with tourism discounts

Mexico's government organizes the second La Gran Escapada edition from June 18 to 21 to boost domestic tourism with discounts on lodging and travel.

The initiative brings together 6,577 establishments offering 114,000 tourism experiences. This marks a 5 percent rise in experiences and a 12 percent increase in registered businesses compared to 2025.

SECTUR, CONCANACO SERVYTUR, PROFECO and ASETUR coordinate the campaign with hotels, travel agencies and transporters. Promotions feature all-inclusive packages, interest-free installments and options in gastronomy and nature.

Tourism Secretary Josefina Rodríguez Zamora noted the offers will strengthen local economic spillovers. CONCANACO SERVYTUR President Octavio de la Torre de Stéffano projected an impact of 44 billion pesos, up 5 percent from last year.

Puebla, Mexico City, Jalisco, State of Mexico and Michoacán lead the number of enrolled businesses across the country's 32 states.
