Michael Hollick won his maiden DP World Tour title on Sunday at the BMW International Open. The 39-year-old South African closed with an eagle putt to finish 18 under par.
Hollick trailed Hennie du Plessis by three shots after the 16th hole. Du Plessis then bogeyed the par-3 17th while Hollick birdied to cut the lead to one.
On the final hole Hollick drove 307 yards and rolled in a 19-foot eagle putt for a closing 67. The victory came four years after he briefly stepped away from competition to coach.
In 2025 Hollick earned his DP World Tour card by finishing seventh on the Sunshine Tour Order of Merit. He recorded three top-10 finishes in his first four events this season.
The win gives Hollick starts at the Genesis Scottish Open and the Open Championship at Royal Birkdale.
