Single and Video Details

'Disconnected' addresses Monroe's passion for live music as a vital connection point in an increasingly isolated world. "Technology was supposed to bring people closer together, when, in fact, people are more disconnected than ever. They're looking at their phones and their computers and downloading stuff," Monroe comments. "And, you know, the Internet can't take away the experience of being at a live show. You're on stage, and you communicate with the audience who are there, in that moment. That's where the magic really happens, and absolutely no program or device or computer can reproduce that."

The Leigh Brooks-directed video for 'Disconnected' is now available. This follows the October release of the first single, 'Rockin' Horse,' also directed by Brooks, which Monroe called a fun, character-driven piece featuring him without makeup for the first time.

Band and Tour

The album showcases Monroe's band: Steve Conte and Rich Jones on guitars and vocals, Karl Rockfist on drums, and Sami Yaffa on bass and vocals. Yaffa, a longtime collaborator from Hanoi Rocks and New York Dolls, anchors the lineup.

To support Outerstellar, Monroe will co-headline a U.K. tour with Buckcherry, starting February 24, 2026, in Southampton. More dates are expected.

Monroe's previous solo album, I Live Too Fast To Die Young, was released in 2022. He recently canceled a U.S. tour supporting Buckcherry due to a ruptured meniscus in August.
