NBA opts against discipline for Adebayo and Herro after altercation

The NBA has decided not to punish Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro following their altercation in Las Vegas last week. The league consulted with both players and the players' association before reaching its conclusion on Thursday.

The incident took place on a practice court at a Las Vegas hotel during Summer League. Adebayo reportedly struck Herro in the face after confronting him over social media comments made following Herro's trade to the Milwaukee Bucks.

An NBA spokesman stated that after discussions with the players and the NBPA, "everyone would prefer to move on from this unfortunate circumstance, and no further action will be taken by the league."

Herro, who was traded to Milwaukee along with several other players and draft assets in exchange for Giannis Antetokounmpo, told ESPN he is focused on his new team. "Honestly, I'm just trying to move past all of it," he said.

Adebayo remains with the Miami Heat, where he will now team up with Antetokounmpo in the frontcourt.
