Santos drew 2-2 with Chapecoense at Vila Belmiro on Saturday, with Neymar scoring both goals for the team on his return after the World Cup.
Neymar, starting the match, opened the scoring at the 36th minute of the first half with a one-two with Barreal. He celebrated by pretending to deal poker cards.
In the second half, Chapecoense took the lead with goals from Marcinho in the 5th minute and an own goal by João Ananias in the 12th minute. Santos equalized in the 41st minute when Neymar converted a penalty after a foul by Bruno Matias.
The result leaves Santos in 14th place with 22 points, close to the relegation zone. Chapecoense remains at the bottom with 10 points. Neymar received a yellow card and will miss the next match.
