Nike unveils two monochromatic Air Max 90 colorways

Nike has released two new Air Max 90 sneakers in solid Royal Blue and University Red. The monochromatic designs mark the United States 250th anniversary.

The pairs feature a single color throughout the mesh upper, leather overlays, midsole and outsole. They arrive without stars, stripes or other patriotic symbols.

The shoes recall the Air Max 90 Hyperfuse USA Pack released in 2013. Nike plans to sell the new versions on its website soon in women’s sizes for $140 each.

The timing aligns with Independence Day celebrations across the country.
