Nintendo enters multi-year deal with Hasbro for Zelda toys

Nintendo has signed a multi-year licensing agreement with Hasbro to create toys based on The Legend of Zelda series. The partnership will produce figurines of characters including Link and Zelda beginning in 2027.

Hasbro will reveal three six-inch figures at San Diego Comic-Con on July 23. The toys will feature characters from Hyrule but the announcement did not specify which ones or the design style.

Hasbro Toys and Board Games President Billy Lagor said the deal combines Nintendo’s storytelling with Hasbro’s expertise in action and role-play toys. He added that the figures will let fans play, explore and create their own adventures.

The agreement comes ahead of the live-action The Legend of Zelda movie, which is scheduled for release on April 30, 2027.
