Noskova reveals superstitions ahead of Wimbledon final

Czech player Linda Noskova has disclosed her extensive pre-match rituals as she prepares to face compatriot Karolina Muchova in the Wimbledon women's singles final.

Noskova defeated 12th seed Marta Kostyuk 6-4, 6-4 to reach the final at the All England Club. The 21-year-old described her habits in detail after the match.

“I have so many superstitions,” Noskova said. “I cannot even start to name them. You don’t wanna know. It’s like 20-30 things in a day. I feel like it’s an illness at this point. I’m using the same routines in the morning. I’m having almost the same lunch. I’m using the same bathroom. I’m using the same sink. The same everything.”

The upcoming final marks the first all-Czech women's singles title match at Wimbledon since the Williams sisters met in 2009. Noskova is the youngest women's finalist there since Eugenie Bouchard in 2014.

Muchova leads their head-to-head record after a three-set win at last year's US Open. The winner will receive approximately $4.8 million and 2000 ranking points.
