Oba Femi won the King of the Ring tournament but forfeited his SummerSlam title opportunity after a challenge from Brock Lesnar.
Oba Femi defeated Jey Uso to win the King of the Ring tournament at Night of Champions this past weekend. The victory had earned him a world title shot at SummerSlam in August.
On the following Monday on WWE Raw, Femi instead accepted a Hell in a Cell match against Brock Lesnar at the Biggest Party of the Summer. The bout will mark their third meeting this year.
Dave Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio that Femi will likely receive his championship match at WrestleMania. "He's going to get his championship match. I think it'll be at WrestleMania," Meltzer said.
Roman Reigns is now set to defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Seth Rollins at SummerSlam.
