Miami Dolphins running back Ollie Gordon II has said the Pittsburgh Steelers were the other team he thought had serious interest in drafting him last year.
Gordon made the comments recently on Terron Armstead’s YouTube channel. He noted that his final two pre-draft visits were with the Dolphins and the Steelers.
The Steelers selected Kaleb Johnson in the third round of the 2025 draft. Gordon went to Miami in the sixth round and finished the season with 70 carries for 199 yards and three touchdowns.
Gordon had a formal meeting with the Steelers at the combine and a pre-draft visit. He is listed at 6 feet 1 inch and 220 pounds with a 4.61-second 40-yard dash time.
