Springsteen's show, originally scheduled for May 8, conflicted with the Sixers' Game 3 matchup against the Knicks. The Flyers' Stanley Cup playoff schedule and the band's itinerary further delayed rescheduling to May 30, 22 days later, officials said Sunday, as first reported by Springsteen's team and entertainment outlets on May 3. Springsteen’s official site announced: “Due to the NBA and NHL playoff schedule, the Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band concert at Xfinity Mobile Arena has been rescheduled for May 30. All tickets for the previous date will remain valid for the new date.” The postponement is part of the Land of Hope and Dreams Tour, which had slotted the Philadelphia date between New York performances, including May 5 at UBS Arena in Elmont, two nights at Madison Square Garden, and May 14 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Those New York shows narrowly avoided Knicks' home playoff games, such as a potential Game 5 on May 12 and Game 7 on May 17. With this shift, the Philly concert is now set to close the tour following the previous finale on May 27 at Nationals Park in Washington.
