Phoebe Bridgers made a surprise appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon yesterday. She performed Lost Boys with a group of children and teen musicians for its television debut.
Bridgers brought a mini brass section and backup singers for the performance. The appearance marked the first time the track from her upcoming album received national television exposure.
Bridgers is preparing to release Lost Weekend, her first solo album in six years, on August 14. The studio version of Lost Boys includes contributions from her Boygenius bandmates Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus along with Caroline Shaw, Alex G, Jack Antonoff, and Bright Eyes member Nate Walcott.
A video for the song features Bridgers as an elf in a fantasy historical reenactment.
