President Prabowo Subianto's visit to France produced four commercial agreements worth Rp61.25 trillion. The deals were reached at the launch of the France-Indonesia High Level Business Council.
The Indonesian Government Communication Agency stated the agreements were reached on 28 May 2026 and witnessed by Prabowo and French President Emmanuel Macron. The forum brought together 30 business leaders from both countries with a combined market capitalization of 1.3 trillion US dollars.
Investment Minister Rosan Roeslani said the forum promotes mutually beneficial investment and trade. The business council is co-led by Antoine de Saint-Affrique of Danone and Anindya Bakrie of Kadin.
Prabowo returned to Indonesia on 30 May 2026 and was welcomed at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka and senior officials. The business council targets tripling bilateral trade by 2035.
