Family tensions involving actress Ratu Sofya escalated after she reportedly sent a legal notice to her own mother over earnings from the film Dosa Penebusan atau Pengampunan.
On Saturday, 23 May 2026, Ratu Sofya’s mother, Intan Masthura, spoke on the YouTube channel Reyben Entertainment. She explained that all of Ratu’s work payments had been transferred to her father’s account from the start due to contract and tax identification requirements.
Intan also apologized to the production team because Ratu did not join the film promotion. She stressed that the family home remains open to her daughter, who left approximately two years ago.
Film producer Reza Aditya of HAS Pictures said his team initially considered legal steps against Ratu. The situation shifted after learning of family issues involving a legal notice sent by Ratu Sofya’s lawyer.
