Rögle BK:n urheilujohtaja Hampus Sjöström on vahvistanut, että keskustelut hyökkääjä Rodrigo Abolsin kanssa mahdollisesta paluusta seuraan ovat jatkuneet. 30-vuotiaan pelaajan sopimus Philadelphia Flyersin kanssa päättyy kuluvan NHL-kauden jälkeen.

Sjöström kertoi Helsingborgs Dagbladille, että vuoropuhelu Abolsin kanssa on ollut aktiivista siitä lähtien, kun pelaaja jätti Röglen kauden 2023/24 jälkeen. Hän totesi, että Abols toipuu tammikuusta asti sivussa pitäneestä vammasta, minkä vuoksi mahdollista siirtoa on vielä varhaista arvioida.
