Pittsburgh Pirates first baseman Ryan O'Hearn returned from the injured list and hit a home run in his first at-bat to help secure a 9-3 victory over the Minnesota Twins on Sunday. The win completed a series sweep for the Pirates.
O'Hearn was activated ahead of the series finale after missing time with a right quad strain. He was placed on the injured list May 17 following an injury against the Phillies on May 16. In his return, he connected on the fifth pitch for a home run that gave Pittsburgh an early lead they never relinquished.
