Sacha Baron Cohen films new Ali G movie in secret

Sacha Baron Cohen has shot a new Ali G movie without any advance publicity. The three-time Oscar nominee completed filming in secret. No further details have been released.

The British comedian created the hip-hop character Ali G for Channel 4’s The 11 O’Clock Show in the late 1990s. Ali G later starred in Da Ali G Show on HBO and the 2002 feature Ali G Indahouse.

Cohen’s representative declined to comment on the new project. The news was first reported by The Insider.

Previous Cohen films in the same style include Borat Subsequent Moviefilm, which earned two Oscar nominations.
