Meanwhile, Deportes Concepción eliminated Deportes Antofagasta. In the first leg at Estadio Ester Roa in Concepción, the lilas won 2-1 with a brace from Joaquín Larrivey, including a penalty and a header. In the return at Estadio Calvo y Bascuñán in Antofagasta, Larrivey scored in the 48th (or 50th) minute, but Andrés Souper equalized in the 60th (or 63rd), ending 1-1 and advancing 3-2 on aggregate.
