Sharon Osbourne became visibly emotional as The Osbournes Podcast released a new episode on November 12 featuring a voicemail from President Donald Trump recorded after Ozzy Osbourne’s death in July.

In the message, Trump called Ozzy “amazing” and “unique in every way,” and told Sharon, “whatever I can do,” according to audio played on the show. Sharon said the gesture reflected personal kindness regardless of politics, recalling her time working with Trump during a month of filming The Celebrity Apprentice in 2010. She added that both Trump and Melania Trump had always been respectful and “wanted nothing” from her family. As a British citizen, she noted, “I’m not American. I can’t vote.”

Jack Osbourne underscored the sentiment, saying, “Love him or hate him, he didn’t have to call and leave a voicemail.” Sharon also remarked on political polarization, saying that when it comes to politics “nobody comes out a winner,” and contrasted Trump with the U.K.’s prime minister, adding that he “doesn’t live in a bubble” and “knows what’s going on in the streets.”

Ozzy Osbourne died on July 22, 2025, at age 76. His death certificate listed a heart attack as the primary cause, with coronary artery disease and Parkinson’s disease with autonomic dysfunction as contributing factors. He had publicly revealed his Parkinson’s diagnosis in 2020. The Osbournes’ podcast episode served as a tribute to the singer and included the family’s reflections on the outpouring of support since his passing.
