Sixth-ranked Oklahoma State equestrian team loses 10-9 to Fresno State

The sixth-ranked Oklahoma State University equestrian team fell 10-9 to No. 8 Fresno State on February 27, 2026, at the Pedigo-Hull Equestrian Center in Stillwater. Emma Hechtman posted the highest Cowgirl score of 85 but tied with Fresno State's Molly Stewart.

In Horsemanship, Oklahoma State rallied for a 3-2 win, improving its season record to 25-14. Captain June Roberson stayed undefeated with a 77.25-75.75 decision. Bella D'Onofrio added a point, moving to 6-2 overall and extending her streak to five meets. Sheridan Baringer contributed with a career-high 78. Jalyn McElmurray scored a team-high 78.5 but fell to Abby Goddard's 79.75.

The score stood at 7-7 entering Flat, which proved decisive. Oklahoma State gained points from Carreras and Sophia Tabasso, tying it at 9-9 before the final ride. Fresno State's Molly Stewart then scored 81 to top Lourdes Low's 76, securing the Bulldogs' victory.

Filiatreau claimed her fifth MOP of the season, while Carreras earned her first career honor.
