Springfield College announces 2026 outdoor track and field schedule

Springfield College's men's and women's track and field programs have released their 2026 outdoor schedule, starting March 27. The announcement comes from head coach Mike Miller and includes six meets before key championships. Both teams finished third at last year's NEWMAC Championships.

The schedule builds toward the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Championships, hosted by Coast Guard from April 24-25. Following that, the teams aim for the Farley Inter Regional from May 5-8, the AARTFC Outdoor Championships on May 13-14, and a Last Chance Meet on May 14 to qualify for the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships starting May 21 in La Crosse, Wisconsin.

Last season, both programs placed third at the NEWMAC Championships, with the men medaling in seven events and the women in three. Junior Mike Anderson from Cromwell, Connecticut, was among two Springfield student-athletes who competed at the 2025 NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships.

This structured season positions the Pride for regional and national contention in Division III track and field.
