Victor Wembanyama delivered a dominant performance to lead the San Antonio Spurs to a 115-108 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 3 on Friday night. The win gave San Antonio a 2-1 lead in their second-round series. Wembanyama finished with 39 points, 15 rebounds and five blocks.
Wembanyama shot 13 of 18 from the field and made three of his five three-pointers. He became just the fourth player in NBA history to record at least 35 points, 15 rebounds and five blocks in a playoff game, joining Hakeem Olajuwon, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Shaquille O'Neal. At 22 years old and in only his seventh career playoff game, he achieved the feat while shooting over 70 percent from the field.
