Steelers agree to four-year extension with kicker Chris Boswell

The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed veteran kicker Chris Boswell to a four-year contract extension worth $28 million. The deal ties Boswell with Dallas Cowboys kicker Brandon Aubrey as the highest-paid kicker in the NFL at an average of $7 million per year.

The agreement was reported on May 11 by ESPN's Adam Schefter. Boswell, who had been entering the final year of his prior contract, is now under contract with the Steelers through the 2030 season. The 35-year-old has been the team's primary placekicker since signing in 2015 after going undrafted out of Rice University.
