The Colombia Stock Exchange held its Investor Day with Grupo Sura, Cementos Argos and ISA. Andrés Restrepo Montoya reported on the rise in stock trading and market valuation.
The event took place on June 4, 2026 in Bogotá. Andrés Restrepo Montoya, general manager of the Colombia Stock Exchange, noted that local stock trading rose more than 70% in the past twelve months. The MSCI COLCAP index recorded a 50% valuation in the same period. Company representatives presented their strategies. Juan Esteban Toro Valencia, CFO of Grupo Sura, highlighted the focus on financial services and a dividend target of 3,000 pesos per share for 2028. Natalia Ochoa, CFO of Cementos Argos, detailed that 60% of EBITDA comes from Colombia and set the goal for the United States to represent 50% by 2030. Carlos Castro of Aval Casa de Bolsa commented on ISA. The company plans investments of up to 33 trillion dollars by 2040, mainly in energy transmission. More than 90% of its revenues are backed by ten-year contracts.
