A man was arrested by the Federal District Military Police on Sunday afternoon after shooting another man during an argument in Sobradinho.
The incident occurred around 11:30 a.m. at Km 18 of DF-440. The suspect appeared suddenly, fired shots at the man arguing with a woman and fled immediately.
The victim managed to drive to a local hospital unit, where he received medical care and reported the crime. Officers from the 13th Battalion located the suspect around 4:50 p.m. with support from specialized teams.
During the approach, the detainee injured himself while trying to escape. He was taken to the hospital and later sent to the police station, where he will be charged with attempted homicide.
