Police in Uppsala announced late Tuesday evening that a missing woman in her 60s has been found. She is doing well following the search operation in Sävja.
The woman last had contact with relatives at lunchtime on Tuesday. She was then seen leaving her home in Sävja outside Uppsala.
Several police patrols took part in the search during the evening. Police appealed to the public for tips that could help locate the woman.
“We are trying to find out where the woman may have gone,” said Maria Hall, press spokesperson for police region Mitt.
At 22:40 the same evening, police confirmed that the woman had been found and is doing well.
