Wompi to participate with somos internet at paytechconf 2026

Wompi, the payments platform from Grupo Cibest, will join Somos Internet in a PaytechConf 2026 panel to discuss recurring payment automation and other sector topics.

Wompi, led by CEO Alejandro Toro, will participate alongside Somos Internet at PaytechConf 2026. The event will examine how business needs are reshaping Colombia’s payments ecosystem.

Toro stated that “estamos transformando la manera en que se reciben los pagos digitales en Colombia”. Wompi currently serves 55,000 allied merchants and processed around 50 million transactions in 2026.

Somos Internet, an optical fiber startup, has connected 50,000 homes and offices nationwide and tripled its revenues in 2024. Together they will explore card tokenization and operational scaling challenges.
