Chhindwara
A bus returning from a chief minister's program collided with a pick-up vehicle in Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh, killing 10 people and injuring 31 others. The accident occurred near Simariya on Nagpur Road. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced compensation of 4 lakh rupees for the deceased's families and 1 lakh for the injured.
