Final Fantasy XIV announced for Switch 2 and Evercold expansion

Square Enix revealed during its Final Fantasy XIV Fan Fest keynote that the MMORPG will launch on Nintendo Switch 2 in August. The company also unveiled its next expansion, Evercold, set for January 2027, marking the start of a new story saga. Director Naoki Yoshida demonstrated the Switch 2 port live on stage.
