Sheikh Ahmad Al Misry reported for alleged sexual harassment of five students

Five male students who have memorized at least 10 juz of the Quran have reported Sheikh Ahmad Al Misry to Bareskrim Polri for alleged same-sex sexual harassment since 2017. The case, internally resolved in 2021, resurfaced after Oki Setiana Dewi's 2025 interview revealed ongoing behavior. Sheikh Ahmad Al Misry is currently in Egypt as the investigation proceeds.
