Apple TV has greenlit a new original series titled Beat the Reaper, a blend of drama and comedy starring Will Poulter. The show, based on Josh Bazell's bestselling novel, follows a talented doctor hiding a troubled past during a chaotic hospital shift. Poulter also serves as an executive producer alongside showrunner Sam Catlin.
