Le groupe BTS sort "Arirang", son premier album collectif depuis plus de cinq ans

BTS a sorti son cinquième album studio 'Arirang' le 20 mars 2026, suite à la révélation de la liste des titres au début du mois. L'album de 14 titres, créé lors d'une réunion de deux mois à Los Angeles, explore les thèmes de la nostalgie et de l'amour avant un concert de retour gratuit à Séoul le 21 mars. La récente blessure à la cheville du leader RM limitera sa performance.

Le septuor - RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V et Jung Kook - a vécu ensemble pour la première fois depuis 2019 lors de l'enregistrement d'"Arirang", nommé d'après une chanson folklorique coréenne. Comme annoncé précédemment, l'album comprend des producteurs tels que Pdogg, Diplo, Kevin Parker de Tame Impala, Flume, JPEGMAFIA, Mike WiLL Made-It, Ryan Tedder, El Guincho et Teezo Touchdown. Le clip du titre "Swim" a été lancé en même temps que la sortie de l'album.

Jung Kook a expliqué au Rolling Stone UK comment le service militaire a alimenté son désir de musique, tandis que J-Hope a déclaré au Zach Sang Show que la croissance en solo a amélioré le son de BTS. La liste des titres correspond à celle dévoilée le 3 mars : "Body to Body", "Hooligan", "Aliens", "FYA", "2.0", "No. 29", "Swim", "Merry Go Round", "Normal", "Like Animals", "They don't know 'bout us", "One More Night", "Please" et "Into the Sun".

Cela précède leur premier concert depuis 2022 à Gwanghwamun Square, retransmis en direct sur Netflix. Cependant, RM s'est foulé la cheville le 19 mars pendant les répétitions. On lui a diagnostiqué une entorse naviculaire accessoire, une déchirure partielle des ligaments et une contusion de l'astragale. Il portera un plâtre pendant au moins deux semaines, ce qui limitera la chorégraphie mais permettra l'interaction avec les fans.
