Building on the January 1 confirmation, where Big Hit Music posted "March 20 Comeback Confirmed" alongside handwritten letters from all seven members teasing the date and expressing excitement, BTS provided further details Monday.
The album is a 14-track studio project—marking the group's first full studio effort in over six years since 'Map of the Soul: 7' in February 2020 and first new group release since the 2022 anthology 'Proof.' "True to their identity as artists who express themselves through music, BTS poured their efforts into capturing the essence of who they are today," Big Hit Music stated, noting production focused through late 2025.
Each track embodies members' emotions, journey reflections, and gratitude to fans (ARMY), stemming from their post-military reunion in mid-2025 and recording sessions completed by November.
Additional comeback elements include a world tour announcement expected January 14—the first since 'Permission to Dance on Stage' ended in 2022—a new official site at 2026bts.com for updates, and prior teases of massive energy from solo-influenced styles.
