BTS tops Billboard Japan's H1 album sales chart

BTS's fifth studio album Arirang was the bestselling album in Japan during the first half of 2026.

According to Billboard Japan's first-half Top Album Sales chart released on June 6, the album sold 706,961 copies. The 14-track release, which came out in March, is the group's first following a four-year hiatus due to members' mandatory military service. Its title track is Swim. Five other K-pop acts also ranked in the top 20. Japan-based boy group &TEAM placed second with its third EP We on Fire. Enhypen came in fourth with The Sin: Vanish, TXT ranked seventh with 7th Year: A Moment of Stillness in the Thorns, TWS placed 10th with No Tragedy, and Treasure ranked 13th with Love Pulse. BTS, &TEAM, Enhypen, TXT and TWS are signed to labels under HYBE. Treasure is managed by YG Entertainment.
