La probabilité d'adoption du Clarity Act grimpe à 43 % après des informations sur un accord éthique avec Trump

Les parieurs sur Polymarket ont fait passer à 43 % la probabilité que le Clarity Act soit adopté cette année, suite à des informations non vérifiées selon lesquelles le président Trump aurait accepté une disposition éthique.

Ce mouvement fait suite à des informations indiquant que Trump a accepté une mesure éthique clé qui bloquait le projet de loi sur la structure du marché des cryptomonnaies. Une source proche du dossier a indiqué à CoinDesk qu'un accord préliminaire avait été conclu lors d'une réunion le 16 juillet avec les sénateurs républicains Bernie Moreno et Cynthia Lummis, ainsi que le conseiller de la Maison Blanche pour les cryptomonnaies, Patrick Witt.

Aucun texte de loi n'a été rendu public, et les démocrates affirment ne pas encore l'avoir vu. La Maison Blanche et les bureaux des sénateurs concernés n'ont fait aucun commentaire sur les détails.

Le Bitcoin a dépassé les 66 000 dollars et a gagné environ 3 % au cours des 24 dernières heures, l'Ether et le XRP affichant également des gains. Les traders ont attribué une grande partie de la tendance haussière générale à la vigueur des actions liées à l'IA et aux semi-conducteurs plutôt qu'aux nouvelles législatives.

La législation établirait le premier cadre fédéral complet pour les actifs numériques et diviserait la surveillance entre la Securities and Exchange Commission et la Commodity Futures Trading Commission. Le Sénat a jusqu'à début août pour voter.
