Ebba Andersson celebrated in Solna after Olympic gold

Swedish ski star Ebba Andersson has returned home to Sweden and been warmly received in a shopping center in Solna, just one day after her Olympic gold on the classic 50km in Val di Fiemme. Andersson left Italy with four medals in total, including three silvers.

Ebba Andersson, 28 years old, landed in Sweden after concluding the Olympics in Italy with impressive results. She won gold on the classic 50km on Sunday, a revenge after setbacks in the relay where she fell twice and Sweden lost the chance for gold. Despite a fall during the 50km, Andersson managed to dominate the race afterward and secure the victory.

In addition to the gold, she won silver in the skiathlon over 20 kilometers, in the 10km free style, and in the relay. These medals mark a strong performance from the Swedish skier.

After the race, Andersson expressed her joy: “The gold means a lot, of course. And if it weren't for this tiredness and emptiness wrestling with the little energy left, I might have shed a tear or two as well.”

The reception in Solna took place in a local shopping center, where fans and welcome committees honored her for the achievements. The event highlights the great appreciation for Andersson's efforts in Italy's Val di Fiemme.
