The Louisville Kings defeated the DC Defenders 27-20 on Saturday to win the 2026 UFL Championship. Four former Pittsburgh Steelers players were part of the Kings' roster.
The Kings overcame a 16-7 halftime deficit to secure the victory. They forced a turnover on downs late in the game to seal the title.
WR Tarik Black caught one pass for 40 yards in the championship game. OT Kellen Diesch started two games during the season for the Kings. Safeties Quindell Johnson and Kenny Robinson Jr. also contributed during the regular season.
The DC Defenders featured four former Steelers as well, including running back Xazavian Valladay who scored a 51-yard touchdown. Kicker Matt McCrane made four field goals in the loss.
