Following a dramatic 31–29 home win in game one, HK Malmö overwhelmed Sävehof 39–27 in the second SM semifinal in Partille. The first half remained competitive for much of the time, but Malmö surged late to lead 19–14 at halftime. The second half was one-sided, with Malmö up 27–16 after 12 minutes and pulling away further.

Nikola Roganovic dominated with 10 goals from 12 attempts, capitalizing on Sävehof's shaky defense, including a pinpoint midcourt shot. 'We just wanted to run over them and I think we did it in the second half,' Roganovic said. Sävehof's Truls Grötta was shut out.

Malmö rotated the squad late, resting stars like Roganovic, Hugo Stuivers, Tim Hilding, and Ebbe Håkansson after building a big lead. 'It gives us a huge boost ahead of what could be the decisive match at home on Sunday,' Roganovic noted.

In the other semifinal, Alingsås defeated IFK Kristianstad in overtime to also lead 2–0, setting up a potential final where higher-seeded Malmö would have home-court advantage with three games in Baltiska hallen.
