Keymer accroît son avance au Super Chess Classic Romania 2026 après le retrait de Firouzja

Le grand maître Vincent Keymer a porté son avance à un point complet lors du Super Chess Classic Romania 2026 suite au retrait du GM Alireza Firouzja. Ce forfait a offert une victoire sur tapis vert à Keymer lors de la sixième ronde, tandis que toutes les autres parties se sont soldées par des nulles. La décision de Firouzja fait suite à une blessure à la cheville qui l'avait contraint à disputer ses parties précédentes depuis son lit d'hôtel.

Le grand maître Vincent Keymer est désormais en tête du classement à trois rondes de la fin. Caruana, Giri, Van Foreest et Praggnanandhaa forment le groupe de poursuivants, à un point derrière lui. La sixième ronde a été marquée par quatre parties nulles en plus du résultat par forfait à Bucarest, au Musée de la Banque nationale de Roumanie.
