Logan Ryan Backs Aaron Rodgers for Steelers Success

Former NFL defensive back Logan Ryan has voiced support for quarterback Aaron Rodgers ahead of the upcoming season with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Ryan, who played against Rodgers, described him as one of the best quarterbacks he faced and a wizard at the line of scrimmage.

"I wouldn’t cast him out," Ryan said on CBS Sports HQ. "I don’t think he’s gonna be completely awful. That’s gonna be a very interesting team."

Rodgers threw for 3,322 yards, 24 touchdowns and seven interceptions in his first year with the Steelers. The team added receivers Michael Pittman Jr. and Germie Bernard to support the offense.

Rodgers is reuniting with head coach Mike McCarthy, who led him during his successful years with the Green Bay Packers. The Steelers reached the playoffs last season but have not won a postseason game since 2016.
