Senators sign NCAA prospects Reidler and Stanley

The Ottawa Senators signed goaltender Kevin Reidler from Penn State and defenseman Hoyt Stanley from Cornell to entry-level contracts on Monday. Both players, drafted by the team in recent years, will report to the AHL's Belleville Senators on amateur tryouts for the remainder of the season. Reidler and Stanley join the organization as their college seasons conclude.

Reidler, a 6-foot-6, 206-pound Swedish netminder, agreed to a two-year entry-level deal. During the season with the Nittany Lions, he recorded an 11-7-0 record, a 3.31 goals-against average and a .901 save percentage. Ottawa selected him in the fifth round, 151st overall, of the 2022 NHL Entry Draft. He now heads to Belleville, where the Senators' affiliate has seven regular-season games left.
