Södertälje announced that Hampus Harlestam has signed a two-year contract extension, keeping the 33-year-old center with the club until the end of the 2027/28 season. Harlestam has been a consistent presence in Hockeyallsvenskan, serving as assistant captain in each of the last two seasons while posting 23 points last year and 24 the season before that. The team already has Teemu Väyrynen under contract and has agreed terms with Daniel Muzito-Bagenda, who is expected to play center. Sportchef Emil Georgsson highlighted Harlestam's value, saying, “He is part of the core of the team.
