Sweden women's volleyball team reaches semifinal

Sweden's women's national volleyball team has secured a semifinal spot in the European League after a 3–0 win against Albania.

The victory came in Sunday's match in Tirana. Sweden won the sets 25–8, 25–9 and 25–15. The match ended after just over an hour.

Overkligt.”

Sweden has won all six qualifying matches and lost only one set. The semifinal will be played over two legs with the return match in Örebro on 1 July. The success also grants a spot in the 2028 European Championship. Sweden is one of the host nations for this summer's championship.
