Le guitariste des Strokes, Nick Valensi, fait une pause temporaire de tournée

Les Strokes ont annoncé que le guitariste fondateur Nick Valensi ferait une pause temporaire lors de leur prochaine tournée Reality Awaits Tour. Steve Schiltz du groupe Longwave assurera l'intérim pour les dates estivales. Cette nouvelle fait suite à l'apparition du groupe sans Valensi dans l'émission The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.

Le groupe a partagé cette mise à jour sur les réseaux sociaux après avoir interprété le nouveau morceau « Falling Out of Love » dans l'épisode du 15 mai de The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. « Nick fera une pause temporaire de la tournée prévue, mais nous avons hâte de le voir revenir », a déclaré le groupe. Schiltz, qui avait déjà joué avec les Strokes lors de certains concerts début 2026, sera à la guitare pour le remplacer.
