Tom Brady criticizes Raiders for 2025 season underperformance

Tom Brady, a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, has sharply criticized the team's performance in the 2025 NFL season during a recent podcast interview.

Brady, who acquired a partial stake in the team in October 2024, said on the "Stick to Football" podcast that the Raiders underperformed across the board last year.

"Last year, we just underperformed in every area and it's everybody's fault," he stated. "There's nobody who did a good job. There's not one player in the organization, there's not anybody involved that did the job to the level that it needs to be done at."

The Raiders finished 3-14 in 2025, with quarterback Geno Smith posting a 2-13 record as starter. Brady also took personal responsibility, noting that improvements must start with him and extend to the players.

Looking ahead to 2026, Brady expects significant progress after the team added quarterbacks Kirk Cousins and Fernando Mendoza, coach Klint Kubiak, and free agents including Tyler Linderbaum, Nakobe Dean, and Quay Walker. He called for daily and hourly improvement, emphasizing that successful teams get better as the season progresses.
