Transport authority halts staff without ATSEP certification at Dalaflyget

The Swedish Transport Agency has ordered AB Dalaflyget to immediately stop using staff lacking the required technical certification for safety-critical tasks.

In a decision dated June 24 this year the Swedish Transport Agency required AB Dalaflyget to stop allowing staff without ATSEP certification to perform certain tasks.

The order follows a longer period of disagreement over which rules apply to the technical certification.

AB Dalaflyget must comply with the order immediately according to the agency's requirements.
